Valuations
Michael has extensive experience of valuing all forms of residential and commercial properties for purposes ranging from legal proceedings, financial reporting and tax assessments to pension fund investments.
An emerging area of valuation in which he’s particularly well-versed is that of roof/air spaces, common parts and structures where leaseholders seek to extend beyond their demised areas.
Michael also has broad experience of providing Charity Act 2011 compliant reports for clients with large residential investment portfolios.
He’s a Regulated Valuer (RICS) and subscribes to the RICS ‘Red Book’ valuation standards. As such he’s externally audited by RICS to ensure compliance with RICS regulations.
‘The Red Book is issued by RICS as part of their commitment to promote and support high standards in valuation delivery worldwide. The publication details mandatory practices for RICS members undertaking valuation services. It also offers a useful reference resource for valuation users and other stakeholders.’
Michael provides fixed quotations on valuations proportionate to the size of valuation and workload involved. Additional advice is charged according to the additional time spent on the matter.
